Beer Tasting 101
We are also proud to offer a beer tasting class to our visitors that we fondly refer to as BEER CLASS 101: This 2 credit (30-45 minute ) class is designed to offer both the casual beer quaffer and the more seasoned hop head, an introduction to the basic sensory pleasures of our favorite malt beverage. We will start with beers that are easy breezy in malt and hop presence, and finish your tasting by rocking your pallet with a 10% ABV Imperial Stout. In between you will experience a taste of Bavaria, a bit of Britain and some Belgium bliss. Along your travels you will also learn the difference between and a lager and an ale, a session beer and an "extreme" beer and what the hell is an IBU. Upon the completion of your journey you will be welcomed into the "fraternal order of the illuminati". That chosen and blessed group of beer geeks that have given witness and been blessed with the eternal enlightenment into the lasting truth and binding covenant of why God loves and wants us to be happy.
There is no prerequisite required for this class. It will, however, be limited to groups that are interested in enhancing their dining experience at the Wasatch Brew Pub.
